4th host familly

I now stay tremendously far away from school! It takes me over an hour just to get to school every morning . Anyway I get a big room. :) The bed is actually on the other side of the room cant be seen in the picture anyway got to go to sleep now !

2 months! left!!

Talk about september passing by too fast what about October !!!! Anyway it was a very busy september
Mt st Michel with rotary and then meeting my mom again after a tremendously long time. After that we went to Canada and i met my whole family again after 9months........ It was all just wonderful!Me and my mom than came back to attend this rotary event where each exchange student had to prepare a dish. It was great my mom met all my friends and host families before leaving. Now i miss my family more than before and i am ready to   comeback!!! I have two months left and still a lot of work to do! I am now doing a recap of my stay in France and i'm summing it all up with pictures and a presentation and i have a presentation to do in a months time completely in french. RCCD - Rotary Lille Nord

   My Sponsor  and Host club respectively... the weekly meetings of the two clubs  have more or less the same goals but a totally different way in carrying out their meetings!! My rotary meetings here in France are on Mondays  at precisely half past noon.Today i took the metro from school to attend the meeting it took me around 20 minutes, the meetings are carried out at the Crowne plaza Hotel at the main train station . As i arrived at the hotel i met the other rotarions in the lounge who were having apero (champagne\peanuts) we make small talk and at 12.45 we go in to the meeting hall for lunch and than the president gives his speech while the main course is brought in. Than it gets pretty boring ... its like a formal meeting after lunch have dessert small chat with counsellor and than back to school again. RCCD from the last time i attented their meeting is anything but formal fun jokes all around and totally delicious tasty spicy self service food !!! :p

wher e have the days gone !!!

ahh! september flew by tremendously fast and i am missing out on all the great open houses and raya back home!!! :(  Missing all the good food !!! Food here is great but i prefer only the dessert part.... I need taste in m food because all i get here when i ask for that is salt and pepper. And days are beginning to get shorter again (weird) very soon i will be going to and from school inthe dark! nooooo! It has also started to get cold average around 15 degrees and i might ( a really big might ) cut my hair soon.... But do you know how much it costs ???? 10 euros = 50 rm !!!!! i am gonna have to pay that much for a hair cut :(

Where is Malaysia ?

" Where do you come from ? " a question i am always asked "I am from Malysia  ! " reaction = ohhhh
Its in Asia right ? I spend half of my time here explaining to people where my country is and when i am done giving them a vague picture of where it is situated i can only hint a little on our rich culture and food!!!God i miss malaysian food ! Anyway to roughly descrribe malaysia's position i always say on top of Singapore..... Everybody knows singapore and not Malaysia !!! A country 10 times smaller than ours in surface area has outgrown us :(

l'école !!

School has started again this month after 2 months of summer holidays..... i go to Lycée Européen Montebello a huge school in Lille. School here is very different compared to in Malaysia, longer school hours and it is very much more stresfull . We only go to school when we have lessons and these are always from 8am to 6pm but till mid day on Saturdays... and yes we have school on Saturdays!!! From where i live ita takes me about 25 minutes to go to school by bus.

rotary weekend 11-13 september

Met all the new inbounds from the northern hemisphere and had a great time getting to know them over the three days ! with rotary all of us went to a beach where they harvested mussels and had it for dinner and it was delicious!!!The dish was called moule frite (mussels and chips)

Well it was a hell of a suprise when my host family told me they were going to take me to a France - Romania football match at Stade de france in Paris! France was my favourite national team and my favourite footballer in the world captains the team!His name is Thierry Henry!!! Eventhough the match only produced a draw i was so happy because it was henry who scored for france!

how time flies by !

Well the summer holidays have passed by so quickly !!! I had two months of it and enjoyed avery minute of it !

During the first month of the holidays in july i went to belgium and paris with my cousin from malaysia who came into france from the uk! She bought loads of hocolates from belgium!!!!!

I than went holidaying with host family in the south of france for 1 and a half months in Provence and toulouse. It can get pretty hot in the south up to 37C but it felt warmer than back in malaysia .... because of the humidity.          Rock climbing in provence!

Euro trip

A bus full of exchange students travel all around europe Paris, Munich,Austria,Venice,Veron,Milan, Monaco, Geneva!!!!

Had the time of my life by seeing breathtaking views and visiting places i had only ever dreamed of!!!!!

in France (Cet tout ce que j'aime) every where else in the world (Im lovin it) and it doesnt even have the frickin same meaning!!!! French are too proud of their language......

La plage!!!!

A note 2 u all!!! When ur in the biggest town in the north of France the closest beach is in another frickin country!!!!Belgium!!! I went to la De pain a famous beach in Belgium today n the water was cold..... Anyway do u guys know if i can add goole maps to the blog i want to show u how close i am to belgium........

Why the hell cant everybody drive on the left side of the road!!!! I got into the driving seat last night and didnt move for a few seconds before i realised....... it was dark, i was tired and i come from a country that drives on the other side of the frickin road!!!My host family prefered to laugh it of all the way home>>..... and me?? i slept..>>>zzzz<<<<

So as i stay in France i will live with four different host fammilies and these are some pics of my second host fammilies home!!They have apple trees,peach trees and strawerries!!!!! in their garden which is huge and there is a river behind the house x boleh jumpa mcm ni kat malaysia!!My host familly also have a rowing boat so yesterday me n my host brother rowed into belgium!!! 5 minutes away to the left!il post a pic of my first host fammilies house next.

3 months already!!!!

Hi this is my first post for the blog and i have got to say this is a bit late as i have already been an exchange student in France for 3 months now!Je comprend bien francais maintenant!!! mais its difficult for me to speak basically because of the accent.(not very easy:( )Anyway im gonna blog abt my day to day activities here and some strange things that only happen when ur living with a french family!!! Makanan sini unik tapi x ada rase nothing like nasi lemak and roti canai with milo ais!!!If u want spicy food all they do is pass u d pepper!!I also want to encourage more Malaysians to be exchange students!! Those of u who want to be an exchange student or who are thinking of being one can ask me anything abt being an exchange.I have got another 8 months to go!!! So stay with me!!!Cause i have already been here for 3 moths n i have been enjoying every bit of it !!!
